The Honda B20A platform (B20A, B20A5, B20A6, B20A7) has long been limited by its factory geometry. To build a reliable high-horsepower engine, you need modern metallurgy and better piston options. Mikado Engineering delivers both.

These are custom-specified Conversion Rods designed to adapt the B20A platform to a 21mm Wrist Pin. This engineering change allows you to use standard, off-the-shelf Honda B16/B18 forged pistons, eliminating the need for expensive custom pistons.

We do not compromise on clamping force. These rods ship with high-tensile 3/8" Racing Bolts that meet or exceed standard ARP 2000 specifications.

Why We Made This

The Australian and International markets needed a way to rebuild the B20A6 and B20A5 without relying on 30-year-old cast rods. By converting to a 21mm pin and using 4340 Forged Steel, we have created the only "off-the-shelf" solution for reliably boosting or high-revving the 3rd Gen Prelude.
